This baguette shaped Tourmaline is cut in my personal 'T.J.Eckleburg' design and is part of 'The Great Gatsby' collection.
The material used is light green piece of Tourmaline, that shows a spectacular play in light and shadow.
From the frontal view there is a resemblence to a pair of broken or scratched glasses, this design was made to resemble the glasses of Dr. T.J.Eckelburg from The Great Gatsby movie. The tiny inclusion are found on one end of the baguette, but due to the design they mirror symetrically on both sides.
In the movie 'The Valley of ashes' is a poluted place close to the activity of the city, where everything is portrayed in colors of grey and dust except for the sign put up by the oculist T.J.Eckleburg, that was hoping to get some business from the working class people of the valey.
