This hexagonally cut Tourmaline is cut in Ramon Tesoro's 'Starlight' design. The piece is cut into included material and shows an unprecedented light return, hence the name of the piece.
The material used is a light pink Tourmaline piece, that shows a spectacular play in light and shadow when tilted.
The inclusions are all perpendicular to the table of the gemstone hence the eruption effect showcased on the front view. The inclusions are generated because the piece of rough was selected from a crystal termination.
