This marquis shaped orange Sapphire is cut in my personal 'Red Queen's Heart' design and is part of the 'Disney Villain' Collection.
The material used is a orange Umba Sapphire, that shows a spectacular play in light and shadow in the frontal view, due to the frosted facets on the pavilion.
The shape of the gem is half of a heart, symbolising the lack of love and emphaty The Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland is showing towards her subjects. The gemstones inclusions are quite stunnning and pair perfectly with the theme of the design, the inclusions almoust resembling an oxidation effect showing aging and decay of the characters heart.
