This rectangular shaped Rhodolite Garnet is cut in my personal 'Infinity Column' design.
The piece is cut into a loupe clean material. The material used is a deep red Rhodolite Garnet piece, that shows a spectacular play in light and shadow.
The design of the gemstone emulates Brancusi's Infinity Column from Targu Jiu, Romania. The idea to place the elongated side of the gemstone perpendicular to the 'column' like figure created by the facets of the pavilion, brings balance to the gemstone.
