'Aurora'
This round shaped Sapphire is cut in my personal 'Aurora' design and is part of the 'Disney Villain' Collection. Aurora is of course not a villain, but as I did Maleficent I wanted to do the pair for it. More in terms of good and evil, although the evil character ended up being a good character by the end of the movie.
The piece is cut into a white Umba Sapphire, that shows a spectacular play in light and shadow in the frontal view as well as when tilted.
The gemstone is eye clean with a fine veil inclusion that can only be seen with a loupe or macro lense .It has light frosted facets that make this design even more intriguing. The design is particulary developed so that the stone showcases an unusually high light return.
